Terms & Conditions
Last updated 8 August 2026
These Terms govern access to Vibzy's website, mobile applications, share extension, APIs, and related services. Vibzy is a social discussion service where people link to public posts, share takes, and express community opinions about whether content appears human-made or bot/AI-generated.
1. Who provides Vibzy
[OPERATOR INPUT REQUIRED: insert the full legal name, trading name if different, registered address, company or registration number, and an effective legal contact for the Vibzy operator.] In these Terms, “Vibzy,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator.
By creating an account or using Vibzy, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
[OPERATOR INPUT REQUIRED: choose and insert the minimum account age for every launch jurisdiction and document any parental-consent or age-assurance process.] You must also be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Vibzy for an organisation, you confirm that you can bind it to these Terms.
Vibzy's current registration flow does not collect date of birth or perform age assurance. The operator must resolve this before allowing account creation in production.
3. Accounts and sessions
Provide accurate account information, keep your credentials and devices secure, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Vibzy supports email-and-password accounts in the website and app. Backend support also exists for Google and Apple identity tokens, although website social sign-in is currently shown as unavailable. We may require verification before changing account details or handling a rights request.
4. What the service does
Registered users can submit links to public third-party posts, add an optional take, follow accounts, like and comment, vote, use Bot Hunt, earn XP and badges, and use image matching to look for a post on Vibzy. Some content and comments can be viewed without an account; interactive actions require sign-in.
Features, scoring, supported platforms, availability, and registration access may change. A feature flag can disable new account creation without disabling existing accounts.
5. Community opinions and automated labels
Human-or-bot votes, Bot Hunt outcomes, comments, crowd results, and related labels are opinions and signals, not verified findings about authorship, authenticity, legality, deception, or a person's conduct. Do not present them as proven fact.
Vibzy can use an automated language model to score comments against labels such as evidence, context, opinion, or claims that content is human- or AI-made. These scores can be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased. They do not replace human judgment and must not be used as the sole basis for a consequential decision about a person.
6. Your content and licence to operate Vibzy
You keep any rights you have in the handles, profile details, profile image, takes, comments, report details, and other material you submit. You are responsible for that material and must have the rights and permissions needed to provide it.
You grant Vibzy a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute your submitted material only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service, including displaying it to other users. This licence ends when the material is deleted from Vibzy, except where a copy must be retained for legal or safety reasons or remains temporarily in backups under the documented retention schedule.
[OPERATOR INPUT REQUIRED: confirm the intended user-content licence, whether promotional use is required, and the final backup, moderation-evidence, and legal-hold retention rules.]
7. Linked and embedded third-party content
Vibzy records source URLs and may display titles, author details, thumbnails, metadata, or official embeds supplied by YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Reddit, X, Spotify, and SoundCloud. The original provider or creator controls the source material. Vibzy does not give you ownership of it.
Only submit a link when you are permitted to do so. Do not use Vibzy to bypass access controls, paywalls, geographic restrictions, disabled embedding, or a source provider's rules. A source provider may remove or change content at any time.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Vibzy to break the law; violate intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; threaten, harass, defame, stalk, exploit, or impersonate someone; share intimate or sexual content without consent; facilitate child exploitation; promote violence or self-harm; distribute malware; phish; scrape or access the service without permission; evade access controls; manipulate votes or reports; coordinate abuse; spam; or overload or interfere with the service.
Do not make unqualified factual accusations from a crowd vote or automated label. Content involving minors, health, crime, elections, intimate material, or private individuals may receive additional restriction or review.
9. Moderation, reports, and enforcement
Users can report users, posts, and comments. We may investigate, restrict visibility, remove content, preserve relevant evidence, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, or refer matters to competent authorities when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or the service, or comply with law.
The repository contains reporting tools but does not establish a complete moderation queue, response timetable, user-blocking system, decision notice, or appeal process. [OPERATOR INPUT REQUIRED: publish the moderation rules, response process, appeal route, and safety escalation contact before launch.]
10. Copyright and other rights complaints
If you believe a Vibzy post, preview, or comment infringes your rights, email copyright@vibzy.ai with your contact details, the protected work or right, the exact Vibzy and source URLs, your authority to act, an explanation of the issue, and the action requested.
[OPERATOR INPUT REQUIRED: approve and publish a complete notice, counter-notice, appeal, repeat-infringer, record-retention, and restoration process; if serving the United States, determine whether a DMCA agent registration is required.]
11. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how Vibzy handles personal data, including public contributions, account sessions, third-party embeds, automated comment classification, and image matching. It forms an important part of these Terms.
12. Third-party services
Vibzy depends on third-party source platforms, app stores, operating-system services, identity providers when enabled, hosting infrastructure, and a configurable AI service. Those services are controlled by their operators and may have separate terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content or services to the extent permitted by law.
13. Beta availability and changes
Vibzy is under active development. Features may contain errors or be interrupted, and source previews may stop working when a provider changes its service. We may change, limit, pause, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in a manner appropriate to the change and applicable law.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibzy is provided on an “as available” basis without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate. Community opinions, automated labels, metadata, previews, and matches may be wrong or incomplete and are not professional advice.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Responsibility and liability
You are responsible for your use of Vibzy and for losses caused by your unlawful content or misuse. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibzy is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, third-party content, or failures outside its reasonable control. Nothing limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that applicable law does not permit a service provider to exclude.
[OPERATOR INPUT REQUIRED: qualified counsel must approve any liability cap, consumer-law wording, indemnity, and jurisdiction-specific exclusions. No monetary cap is asserted by this draft.]
16. Ending use of Vibzy
You may stop using Vibzy and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or end access for a material or repeated breach, a serious safety or legal risk, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue—such as responsibility for prior conduct, dispute terms, and licences needed for lawfully retained material—survive termination.
17. Governing law and disputes
[OPERATOR INPUT REQUIRED: insert governing law, courts or dispute forum, the operator's establishment, required consumer protections, and any informal complaint process after confirming launch jurisdictions with qualified counsel.] Nothing in this section may remove mandatory rights available to consumers in their place of residence.
18. Contact
General questions can be sent to hello@vibzy.ai. Safety support is currently referenced in the app as support@vibzy.ai, and rights complaints as copyright@vibzy.ai. [OPERATOR INPUT REQUIRED: confirm that all addresses are monitored and add a postal contact and any legally required representative.]
